Michigan Economy and Furniture Danger 12-30-10

Just read an interesting headline in one of the Detroit newspapers today. The governor-elect is a man named Rick Snyder. He is a very experienced businessman. Rick has had some time now to study the economic intricacies of the State. Unlike our former governor, Jennifer Grandmole, he does not advocate throwing as many residents of the state in prison as possible. Perhaps that is because it gets expensive to house and guard half the population. This man is also our "head cheerleader." But he has reached a very sad conclusion. Mr. Snyder has stated that "Michigan is in such bad shape that it can't be fixed." On another, cheerier subject: Apparently being in the furniture business in Michigan is getting more dangerous. I am sure my old buddy Art Van is aware of this, but furniture stores are blowing up all over the place. Click here. Please be careful, Art.
