Dog Track 1-24-11

Are dog lovers allowed to go to the dog track to watch greyhounds race? I'm not entirely sure. I went anyway. Many years ago, when I was still married, I asked my ex-wife if she had any interest in watching greyhounds race. She asked me "Why, to see which bus is fastest?" I don't miss her at all. I bet a total of $6 last weekend. The best the dogs I bet on did was 5th out of a field of 10. I do not think this will be a source of income for me in the future. Some pics below.

Just before the race, the handlers bring the contestants
into an enclosed area. The bettors can look them over,
but can't talk to the handlers (or the dogs).

After viewing in the enclosed area, the dogs and handlers line up
