Sarasota's Economy 1-11-11

Just a quick update on the Sarasota fitness studio. Wow! This facility has caught on quicker than a salad bar at a Peta convention. It reminds me of the Grosse Pointe facility before the recession began on 9/11 and before an incompetent City of St. Clair Shores allowed an incompetent construction company to rip up a road in front of the studio for 17 months. With only 2 trainers and 3 assistants, the gross of my 1,800 square foot facility exceeds that of some of Art Van's lamer stores. On another subject, my son managed to drive my old Corvette down here safely. I haven't driven the thing in a year and 3 months. It turned 100,000 miles on the way down. It runs perfect but it is a '93 and it might be time to sell it and look for something a little newer.
