Can Art Van buy Lobster with one? 5-18-11

There was an article in the Detroit News today about a man that won two million dollars and still qualified for food stamps. It seems as though there is a loophole in the system. You receive a bridge card based on your income that year, not your net worth. I am not making this up. Click here. Based on this rule, my old Buddy Art Van might just qualify for food stamps! You see, he has had a terrible couple of years. Once again, I have his sales data in front of me, thanks to a kind but disgruntled ex-employee of his. These figures are horrible! Ouch! I really don't see how the man made any money. Food stamps might be a viable answer as long as they don't look at his total net worth. I shall send him an application form.  Coming soon...guess who is constantly applying to have the property taxes reduced on his 30 plus stores?
