Chicago Fire and Detroit cont...9-2-11

I am not oblivious to the fact that there were many deaths during the The Great Chicago Fire. I am not advocating that we simply firebomb the City of Detroit willy-nilly. Mayor Bing is already attempting to encourage citizens to move out of less populated areas of the city and into areas where city services could be concentrated and put to better use. People are resistant to this notion thus far, but given the steady demise of tax dollars and available policemen, it is the only chance Detroit has to stem crime. There is still a sufficient amount of patrol vehicles, but severe cutbacks have been made in the detective bureau and other investigative units. In other words...the bad guys know that if they can get away before the squad car shows up, their chances of getting caught down the road are slim to none. But Detroit doesn't need to patrol vacant fields. The city currently encompasses 143 square miles. I suggest they identify the least populous areas and then burn down only one square mile at a time. Since many of the citizens cannot read, I would advocate notifying them of the upcoming holocaust by several different methods which I will not go into at the present. Instead, I would like to address a protocol for the residents that don't seem to get the message. To be cont...
