St. Clair Shores Gov. cont. 10-13-10

Curt the Mayor stepped down. He became Curt the Head of the Sanitation Department. The job paid about $90,000 a year. But that wasn't enough money for 'ol Curt. He awarded himself bonuses. He turned in $27,000 of scrap metal to the recycling yard. Unfortunately, he kept the money. His wife owed a big chunk on her water bill. Curt had it forgiven. He approved a free Wifi aircard for himself since 2006. That alone added up to $2,400. Of course, this is only the stuff the cops have discovered thus far. Curt has been charged with a 10 year felony and a couple of misdemeanors. Bad, bad Mr. former Mayor. May you rot in jail for a while. In the meantime, I sold the studio to a Village Idiot named John Strehler. He moved it, and then it went belly up. The old building has been vacant for about 4 years! I had a chance to rent it again for a song. I would have paid taxes to the City of St. Clair Shores again. I would have hired city residents. But one corrupt official made me think twice. I LOVE it here in Sarasota Florida. I pay taxes to the city here instead. Some of its residents work for me. I hope Curt's jail cell is unheated.
