Turtle Lake Update 10-31-10
Before I begin to write about home depreciation in Art Van's immediate neighborhood again, I would like to thank my regular readers. There used to be about 6,000 of you. I began to run into issues with the update page about one year ago. In the internet world, a six year old site uses relatively ancient technology and programs. It was cutting edge when it first began, but not now. By the beginning of last summer, posting updates became very complex and painful. Now, with the new blog page, posting something new is a breeze. Writing and editing the new book demanded huge amounts of time as well. Interviewing illustrators alone took nearly 40 hours. Now that the writing and editing are complete, I have loads of time to check up on my old buddy Art (Max Lexington). This guy has been busy. I hope I have his energy at 80 years old. Unfortunately, most of the rocks I pick up to look under have something distasteful growing or crawling underneath. According to my stat counters, 3,000 regular readers have found their way back to the site. I shall send out search parties for the rest after the first of the year but wish to thank the ones who came back at this time. In the meantime, some of you may have doubted that Art would pay nearly 8 million for a house that is now worth 2 million. Click here for proof.
