22 years ago, I made some videos for my church. I shot one about used cars that barely broke even. I borrowed a TON of equipment from a local cable TV station to get a final product that was as professional looking as possible. The editing equipment alone was worth $20,000. The camera was elaborate, with a multitude of different settings. The total cost of all of the equipment approached $40,000. The video turned out fine. Two weeks ago I received a $300 digital video camera for my birthday. The editing software was included. The picture quality exceeds that of the videos I did 20 years ago. Is this all just an excuse to show a new video of my dog? Perhaps. Click below.
