A Tour of the Ghetto 10-13-10

If you wish to read something guaranteed to lift your spirits, todays update is not for you. If you want to watch a happy, feel good video, the one below would be more suitable. While I by no means homesick for the Detroit area, I do have a bit of a fixation right now with a phenomena that is gripping the City, It is estimated that the City is losing population at the rate of 1000 people per month. I think that is a bit low. That is only the people who are able to move out of the City. That figure does not include older people who die in their beds and most likely leaves out the people who die in the streets. I am sure that the figure is much closer to 2,000 per month. But my fixation is not the population loss per se. I am hooked right now on the spate of YouTube videos that focus upon the thousands upon thousands abandoned and crumbling homes and properties. This is just one example. Click here.
