Fire guts furniture store...very suspicious 7-3-11
On July 2nd, a fire gutted a Highland Park, Michigan furniture store. Art Van usually drives his competition out of business with endless sales and promises that turn out to be fibs. But this...well, this is very suspicious. Click here. I am not suggesting that Art drove by in his Mercedes, rolled down the window, and heaved a gasoline-filled Crown Royal bottle through a roof vent. Nevertheless, I cannot help but ask: "who stands the most to gain by this store being torched out of business?" As I discovered after writing the book Grosse Pointe Pimp, which many claimed was about my old buddy Art Van, he is a rather vengeful sort. He never gets his own hands dirty, though. How close was this store to one of Art's? He has at least two within 10 miles. Suspicious, very suspicious.
